Port Gamble Theater (Roving Players) has been in operation since 1989. In full-time residence at Port Gamble since 2010.
Rising Stars is limited to (20) students. The ratio is about 5 students per director. Port Gamble Theater maintains WSP background checks on all staff that interact with minors, in addition, we maintain a (2) deep leadership policy.
Yes, Port Gamble Theater offers educational programs for students of all ages, including workshops and behind-the-scenes tours. PGT considers itself a teaching theater for all ages and skills.
Rising Stars is a premier, small-group 2-week session with diverse and immersive musical theater training with professional staff.
-The 2025 camp will be August 4-15.
-Sessions are from 9:30 to 3:30 (M-F) in Historic Port Gamble.
-Final Showcase performance is Aug 15 at 6:30pm
-The Camp is best suited for rising stars between 9-17 years old.
Your student will come away with voice, acting and audition training. In addition, final showcase video and professional digital headshots.
Tuition is $499 for the 2 weeks with a 10% sibling discount available.
Snacks and beverages are provided. Students should bring their own lunch sacks.
